Each prefab container house we manufacture is built from factory-prefabricated standard modules that are bolted together on site, producing a relocatable and reusable building rather than a disposable one. The base module is a galvanised cold-formed steel frame in SGH340 at t=3.0 mm, insulated with 100 mm glass wool in the roof and floor and clad in 75 mm colour-steel sandwich panels and seamless S-type rock wool composite panels. Modules can be stacked to single, double, triple or more storeys and arranged in I, U, L or courtyard layouts. Every prefab container house is quoted individually after engineering review: there is no standard MOQ, and our engineering team replies within one business day with a concept proposal and a budget range.
Module specification
Two standard module footprints underpin the range. Internal dimensions are given because they govern layout and furniture planning; structural loads are stated as design values for the engineer of record to verify against project conditions.
| Parameter | Module A | Module B |
|---|---|---|
| External dimensions (L × W × H) | 6055 × 2990 × 2896 mm | 6055 × 2435 × 2896 mm |
| Internal dimensions (L × W × H) | 5845 × 2780 × 2500 mm | 5845 × 2225 × 2520 mm |

Services and finishes
Electrical circuits are pre-fitted in the roof, water supply runs along the walls, and drainage is wall-side, so service routes are fixed before the modules leave the factory. Doors are steel; windows are integrated PVC sliding units with security bars and fly screens. This pre-fitting shortens site work and reduces the trades required on a camp or facility programme.
Format variants
The module system is supplied in two build formats, each sharing the frame, insulation and services approach above:
- Flat pack — the 6055 mm standard box packed flat for transport and assembled on site.
- Detachable — bolted, demountable modules that can be taken apart and reused.
All formats sit within our container house range, and the format mix can be combined across a single project where transport, programme and reuse requirements differ between building groups.
Applications and project experience
Typical uses include engineering camps, commercial buildings, emergency facilities, education facilities and military sites. CDPH was founded in Beijing in 2009 and operates three production bases (Hebei, Xinjiang, Sichuan); the Hebei base is 48 km from Tianjin Port. Our team of 500+ people includes 100+ engineers, and we report 5,000+ projects implemented in 100+ countries, with export markets in Eastern Europe, North America, Southeast Asia and Africa. References include a port expansion camp in Cote d'Ivoire, a construction camp for a methanol plant, a camp for a cross-sea bridge project in Croatia, a natural gas project camp in Nigeria, a copper mine camp built for −55 °C conditions, and a living camp for a solar power station in Saudi Arabia whose fire performance was verified by Intertek testing.
Certification and procurement
Certifications cover CE for modular container houses, prefab houses and light steel villas, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, product carbon footprint certification, National High-Tech Enterprise status, NATA materials certification for Australia, Intertek fire-resistance certification, CCS factory approval and Intertek ICC-ES / WH building-material compliance for the US market; 14 key welders are qualified to AWS, CWB and CE standards. Certificates available upon request. Overseas projects are run through CDPH (HAINAN) COMPANY LIMITED, the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Beijing corporation.
